WDブランド「My Passport」の製品ラインナップを刷新し、さらに大量の写真やビデオの保存や持ち運びが可能に




エスタンデジタルコーポレーション（NASDAQ：WDC、以下ウエスタンデジタル）は、WD(R)ブランドMy Passport™とMy Passport for Macを刷新したことを発表しました。受賞歴のあるMy Passportは、厚さわずか0.75インチ（19.15mm）と、WDブランドポートフォリオの中でも最薄の5TBポータブルハードディスクドライブに生まれ変わりました。スタイリッシュなデザインで手のひらに収まるサイズながら、膨大な量の写真、ビデオ、音楽、およびドキュメントを保存、整理し、共有する容量を備えています。

見た目も斬新でスタイリッシュな新製品は、最大5TB*の容量までご用意しております。My Passportは、ブラック、ブルー、レッドの美しい新色を取りそろえており、My Passport for Macはミッドナイトブルーで提供されます。My PassportはWindows(R)10用にフォーマットされ、USB 2.0と互換性のあるUSB 3.0コネクタを搭載しています。My Passport for Macは、macOS Mojave用にフォーマットされており、USB-C™コネクタを搭載しているため、プラグアンドプレイストレージとしてすぐに使用できる状態で出荷されます。

ユーザーがコンテンツを保護するために、これらのハードディスクドライブにはWDセキュリティ™（パスワード保護と256-bit AESハードウェア暗号化）、ソーシャルメディアやクラウドストレージのインポート（Facebook、Dropbox、Google Drive™など）**、および WD Drive Utilities™に対応する WD Discovery™ソフトウェアを備えています。ウエスタンデジタルの信頼性に裏打ちされて開発されたこれらの新製品には、3年間の限定保証が付いています。
